This traditional guesthouse is a great base located near hot springs. Walking distance to the Sushi place and impressive neighborhood. Futon is surprisingly comfortable, and the private hot spring inside and outside rooms will surely amaze you. the staff is helpful and accommodating. the common area and free tea set are great additions.

The private hot springs were amazing, and we loved having a choice between indoor and outdoor options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, pointing us toward nearby restaurants and providing excellent service during our meals. Location-wise, it was perfect - just a short walk to several attractions and a bus stop that made it easy to explore the surrounding area. We also appreciated the comfy bedding and the fact that our room was spacious enough for a romantic getaway.
While we loved our overall experience, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The language barrier was a bit of a challenge at times, as some staff members spoke limited English.

Spent my Christmas vacation at a traditional guesthouse and the experience was fantastic. the room was clean and spacious with comfy futons and a tea set with green tea. the private hot springs, both indoor and outdoor, were the best features. There were three different types to choose from. the staff were helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. Great central location with walking distance to famous hot springs and sushi places. Definitely a must-stay for anyone who wants to experience the Japanese culture.
It was perfect in every way.
